Thank God for His guidance in bringing us to Szczecinek!
Thank God for the apartment that we were able to move into.
Thank God for a good start to the school year in a new school.
Thank God for the interest we have found in the youth here to having a youth club at the church.
Thank God for the opportunity to pass out presents with Operation Christmas Child.
Thank God for His grace and strength through difficult times.
Thank God for how well our first ever gathering for everyone in Pioneers Poland. It went well and was a real time of bonding for all of us.
Prayer Requests:
Pray for the leadership of the Baptist Church here in Szczecinek. Major decisions are going to be made. Craig will be assisting them in the decisions they have to make.
Pray for wisdom and strength as we take on several ministries in the church here, including a youth club and helping to run the worship services.
Pray for Craig as he has been asked to help oversee the restoration of a Polish church leader who has been caught in sin. Pray for the leader that he will continue to want to be restored to faith and for others involved that we will see God’s glory shine in this dark time.
Pray for the start of a new church in the town of Drawsko Pomorkie. We are meeting with people who live in that town and we are going to work together with them to plant a church there. we hope to be starting English classes in late January or early February.
Pray for the summer teams we hope to lead. One opportunity is through Pioneers’ Edge program and the other is through a team mate’s home church in California.
Pray for our financial needs. As the dollar drops, so does the value of our salary. Although we have moved into a much smaller place, the change in the currency exchange rate is more than we can adjust for by living more simply.
Craig and Carol Lynn Rucin are serving with Pioneers in Szczecinek, Poland to assist the local church with evangelism and to help facilitate a church planting movement, both in the Western Pomerania region and throughout Poland.
